Tapu Mishra was born on 11th january 1985. She has done her Schooling from Lady Lewis Girls High School, Sambalpur and Graduation from GM College, Sambalpur. At the very beginning of her career she has given us many popular songs like Nare na bajana Bansi, Sasu Ghara Chali Jibi, Hai Re Haitorachehera, Ishq Tu Hi Tu. Her mentors are Prabhudutta Pradhan, Gyanajan Mohapatra and Swarup Nayak. Her mothers name is Charubala Mishra she also a lyricist. She has sung more than 162 movies like I Love you, Sasu Ghara Chali Jibi, Arjun, 143 I Love You, Romio The Lover boy, Choclate, Love Master, Prem Rogi Shows her talent. Not in India she is also popular in Foreign country .She gave her voice in 22 Bangela Film and also released 1 album named as Singing Boards at Columbus, a devotional song named as Sai Mahima released at Chicago. She is the Woner of Thoslight production house.

Tapu Mishra has started her career at the age of 5 from All India Radio, Sambalpur. She has started her professional career from the movie KULA NANDAN at the age of 16. She has performed in 162 Odia movies, 22 Bangla and   3 Jharkhand movies till now. She has done many shows in United States of America, Oman, Muscat, New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, ShantiNiketan, Patna, Banglore, Chennai, Kerala, Gantok, Guwahati, Gurgaon, Gaziabaad, Vizag and many more.

She has worked as jury in many reality shows. Have also completed 7 reality shows till date in major TV channels like ETV-Odia, Tarang and Zee Sarthak.
